At Disibio Shoes, shoe fitting isn't just what we do — it's who we are. As second-generation shoe fitters and certified pedorthists, we've spent our lives learning the craft of matching the right shoe to the right foot.
We love all things shoes. There's nothing more satisfying than fitting a pair properly on our guests' feet and watching them walk away more comfortable than when they walked in. That moment — when someone realizes their shoes don't have to hurt — is why we do this.
What we specialize in
Our fitters work every day with customers who have heel pain or plantar fasciitis, high or flat arches, bunions, and feet that need a wide or extra-wide width. We look for shoes that hold your heel, give your toes room and work with your custom orthotics if you wear them.
Our store is located in South Windsor, Connecticut, where we've been serving our community for years. Our family also owns New Balance licensed stores in South Windsor, Avon, and Cranston, Rhode Island — but Disibio Shoes is where we bring together the full collection of comfort and fashion brands we love, all under one roof.
You may know us as Vionic by Disibio or V Comfort Shoes. Same family, same fitters, same store at Evergreen Walk, now Disibio Shoes. We still carry Vionic alongside more than a dozen other comfort brands.
Now, we're bringing that same expertise online so more people can experience the difference that properly fitted, quality footwear makes. We carry brands we believe in — from comfort leaders like Vionic, Birkenstock, and Aetrex to style-forward names like Pikolinos, Taos, and Naot. Every brand on our shelves has earned its place through quality, comfort, and craftsmanship.

How a fitting works at Disibio
- We measure both feet with a Brannock device, for length and width.
- We scan your feet with the Aetrex Albert digital foot scanner.
- We fit you one-on-one, bringing out styles and widths that match your feet and how you spend your day.
